What Is Acclaim Accreditation?

You may have seen the Acclaim logo in the footer of every page on our website. But what is Acclaim Accreditation, and how does it benefit you?

Launched in 2012, Acclaim Accreditation is a health and safety scheme by Supplier Assessment Services that ensures businesses meet stringent industry standards.

i2 Security & Fire Protection is proud of its Acclaim certificate. It gives our customers, suppliers, and partners peace of mind that they’re working with reliable people who consistently meet high standards.

This blog post explains how the accreditation process, renewed every 12 months, perfectly aligns with our rigorous standards.

Why Acclaim SSIP Accreditation Matters to i2

For i2, getting our Acclaim Accreditation is not just another logo for the website. It’s our gateway to gaining trust and reliability in the UK’s competitive security and fire protection market.

The accreditation focuses on the meticulous standards set by Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP).

Acclaim Accreditation is a valuable seal of approval that demonstrates to our clients, partners, and regulators that we prioritise safety, quality, and sustainability.

The Accreditation Application Process

There are three steps to obtaining Acclaim accreditation:

  1. Download the Checklist: We start by downloading the Acclaim checklist. It guided us through uploading the correct documentation and evidence needed in the application form.
  2. Answer All Questions: There were 12 questions to complete. We provided detailed supporting evidence for each answer.
  3. Application Review: An Acclaim administrator reviewed our application document. It was then forwarded to a qualified SSIP assessor for review and approval within ten days.

What Are the Benefits of Being an Acclaim Member?

The benefits of being an Acclaim member are enhanced confidence and trust, simplified procurement and tendering, reduced risk and liability, improved supplier and client relationships and increased business efficiency.

Enhanced Confidence and Trust

Customers, clients, buyers and suppliers feel more secure knowing that i2 Security & Fire Protection operates under strict safety and quality standards.

Acclaim Accreditation is a trusted assurance that our health and safety protocols comply with industry regulations and best practices.

This certification guarantees that you’re working with a reliable partner who prioritises safety and well-being.

Simplified Procurement and Tendering

Procurement and tendering processes can be stressful and time-consuming.

However, Acclaim Accreditation simplifies this by providing a universally accepted certification.

It lets you verify our credentials quickly, which reduces administrative hurdles and speeds up the project approval process.

Reduced Risk and Liability

Acclaim Accreditation means that i2 Security & Fire Protection has established industry-leading safety management practices, and our projects are less likely to be disrupted by non-compliance or accidents.

This gives you peace of mind, and it means we can complete all jobs on time without incurring unexpected penalties or regulatory issues.

Improved Supplier and Client Relationships

Acclaim Accreditation is not limited to health and safety benefits alone; it also helps us build stronger relationships.

Accredited companies like i2 are recognised as reliable partners who share common values and adhere to safety standards.

This strengthens trust and leads to more collaborative, long-term partnerships.

Increased Business Efficiency

Accreditation encourages continuous improvement in health and safety protocols, and this results in streamlined operations and increased productivity.

For our customers and stakeholders, this means working with a company that consistently delivers efficient, high-quality services and avoids unnecessary disruptions or costly delays.

Maintaining and Renewing the Acclaim SSIP Member Scheme

We take our Acclaim Accreditation seriously and are proud to pass the strict renewal process every 12 months.

We do this by prioritising employee guidance and training, strategic adaptation, continuous improvement, ongoing audits and full engagement.

Employee Guidance and Training

Our employees are the backbone of our success.

We invest in training and development to ensure every member of the i2 family is a safety and quality ambassador.

This dedication helps us maintain the high standards expected by Acclaim.

Strategic Adaptation

Acclaim’s requirements can evolve, so we prioritise staying informed about updates and changes.

Our strategies and operations are always flexible to meet shifting standards.

Continuous Improvement

i2 Security & Fire Protection has a culture of constant improvement.

We’re always seeking ways to refine our safety protocols and enhance operational efficiency in order to meet the SSIP criterion set by Acclaim.

Ongoing Audits

We perform regular internal assessments and work closely with external auditors to comply with Acclaim’s rigorous standards.

Full Engagement

We maintain an active relationship with Acclaim, leveraging their insights and resources to align with best practices and new initiatives.
